Site dedicated to the renovation of Peter Igo Park which is located in Brant Rock, Massachusetts. The Peter Igo Park Initiative (PIPI) is spearheaded by volunteers from the Marshfield Tennis Club.
The USTA (United States Tennis Association) recently awarded a grant for $40K to begin construction for (3) new full size tennis courts and (4) ten & under courts at Peter Igo Park. Construction is expected to start in late June and will be completed this summer.
The newly renovated park will be a one a kind facility with plans to teach wheelchair tennis and working with the Wounded Warrior Program, senior citizens, and otherwise challenged individuals.
Marshfield residents voted in favor of appropriating an additional $240,000 in community preservation, to continue renovations at the Peter Igo Park.
Renovations will continue this spring and are expected to be completed in the coming months. Construction of the tennis courts is expected to begin in June, 2014.

Town Meeting will have final say on the project, which includes new tennis courts, a basketball court and a fitness grid.

About $500,000 worth of upgrades are under way at Marshfield's Peter Igo Park. There will be seven tennis courts – four courts for age 10 and under and three U.S. Tennis Association regulation courts – a basketball court, a picnic area, a multi-use fitness surface, a playground and parking.
