The Peter Igo Park Initiative (PIPI) would like to thank The Green Harbor Association, the Marshfield Youth Basketball Club and Ms. Joey Butler for their significant cash donations to the Park’s renovation effort. This project is truly a community endeavor and having the support of people and institutions in the neighborhood means a great deal to PIPI and the team of volunteers working to bring the project to completion.
Scituate Federal Savings Bank Supports Igo Park Initiative in Green Harbor
Scituate Federal Savings Bank is pleased to announce that the Bank has contributed $1,500.00 towards the revitalization of Igo Park in Green Harbor. According to Richard L. Rowe, Jr., President and Chief Operating Officer at Scituate Federal Savings Bank, the Bank has long supported many community‐based groups and was approached the Marshfield Tennis Club for a contribution. “It was a natural for us,” said Rowe. “We have a branch location right down the street and a good number of the residents in Green Harbor are also customers of the Bank. This project benefits them all as well
as the greater Marshfield community.”
